Turkey Liver
Turkey liver is a nutrient-dense whole food rich in protein, iron, B12, and especially vitamin A (preformed retinol). Frequent or large servings can exceed the tolerable upper limit for vitamin A (3,000 mcg RAE/day adults), which is teratogenic in pregnancy.
