What it is
Potassium salt of sorbic acid, a short-chain unsaturated fatty acid.
Preservative inhibiting growth of mold, yeast, and some bacteria.

- rare contact dermatitis
- EFSA noted some exposure exceedance in toddlers in 2015 review
