Rye Malt

Rye malt is a conventional grain product. It contains gluten and rye is a cereal allergen; both rye and rye-containing foods must be declared under FDA FALCPA-equivalent and EU labeling rules.

Malted rye grain (Secale cereale) — rye allowed to germinate and then kiln-dried, providing enzymes and characteristic flavor.
