Red Rice Vinegar
Vinegar is GRAS under 21 CFR 184.1090. Red rice vinegar contains traces of monacolins from Monascus fermentation, but at levels far below those of red yeast rice supplements that the FDA has cautioned about.

Red rice vinegar is a vinegar made from fermented red yeast rice (rice fermented with Monascus purpureus), used in Asian cuisine.
Acidulant and flavoring; condiment.
