Polyglyceryl-3 Diisostearate
Polyglyceryl-3 diisostearate is reviewed as safe in cosmetics by the CIR Expert Panel. Polyglyceryl esters as a class have very low oral toxicity and are hydrolyzed to glycerol and fatty acids.
What it is
An emulsifier formed by esterifying triglycerol with two molecules of isostearic acid; a polyglyceryl ester used in cosmetics.
No food function. Water-in-oil emulsifier and dispersant in cosmetics.
