Polyglycerin-3
Polyglycerol and polyglycerol esters of fatty acids (E475) are EFSA- and FDA-evaluated emulsifiers with no current safety concern at typical use levels. EFSA established a group ADI of 25 mg/kg bw/day in its 2017 re-evaluation.
What it is

Humectant, plasticizer, and emulsifier; backbone of polyglycerol esters used as food additives (E475).
Why it's flagged
- GI tolerance issues at high intake (osmotic)
