Peri-Peri

Peri-peri is a whole-food chili pepper with capsaicin as the principal active compound; capsaicin has shown thermogenic and minor analgesic effects. Whole chilies are not a chemical safety concern at culinary use; very high intake may cause GI irritation in sensitive individuals.
