Manganese Sulfate
Manganese sulfate is a recognized form of manganese used in fortification. NIH ODS notes adult Adequate Intake of about 1.8–2.3 mg/day with a Tolerable Upper Intake Level of 11 mg/day; chronic high intakes (especially via inhalation) have neurotoxic potential, but oral fortification levels are within established safe ranges.
