Kluyveromyces/Lactobacillus/Lactococcus/Leuconostoc/Saccharomyces Milk Ferment
These microorganisms are widely used in food fermentation (kefir, dairy). The ferment lysate is safe in cosmetic use per CIR and the underlying organisms are GRAS for food fermentation.
What it is
Milk fermented with a defined consortium of yeast (Kluyveromyces, Saccharomyces) and lactic acid bacteria (Lactobacillus, Lactococcus, Leuconostoc) — kefir-type ferment.
Cosmetic skin-conditioning ingredient (probiotic ferment); also relevant to kefir foods.
