Hulled Barley
Hulled barley is a whole grain rich in beta-glucan fiber, with FDA-authorized health claim for soluble fiber and reduced risk of coronary heart disease. Barley contains gluten and is unsuitable for those with celiac disease or wheat/barley allergy.

Barley grain with the inedible outer hull removed but with the bran layer intact (also called barley groats).
Whole grain used in soups, stews, salads, and as a side grain.
