Gamma-Decalactone
Gamma-decalactone is a synthetic flavoring substance generally recognized as safe (GRAS) by FEMA and listed by FDA as a permitted synthetic flavoring substance. It is used at very low levels typical of flavor compounds and has no significant safety concerns at intended use levels.
