Flavouring Preparation

'Flavouring preparation' is a generic umbrella designation covering many possible compositions. EU Regulation 1334/2008 defines flavouring preparations as products other than flavouring substances obtained from food or non-food materials of vegetable, animal or microbiological origin.

Generic category for prepared flavoring blends (mixtures of flavoring substances, carriers, and natural materials) used to impart taste and aroma.
Imparts flavor and aroma at low usage levels.
