What it is

Ethyl lauroyl arginate (ethyl-N-alpha-lauroyl-L-arginate hydrochloride, LAE) is a cationic surfactant derived from lauric acid, L-arginine, and ethanol used as an antimicrobial preservative.

Antimicrobial preservative effective against bacteria, yeasts, and molds.
