Polyvinylpolypyrrolidone
Also known as: E1202, Crospovidone, Cross-linked polyvidone
PVPP (E1202) is FDA-permitted (21 CFR 173.50) as a clarifying agent in beverages and authorized in the EU. Because PVPP is insoluble, it is not absorbed by the gut and is removed during processing.
