Chicory
Chicory root and its inulin/oligofructose are recognized sources of dietary fiber by the FDA. NIH ODS notes inulin/chicory fiber may support digestive health and is well tolerated at normal intakes (high doses can cause bloating).

Cichorium intybus, a leafy plant; the root is roasted as a coffee substitute and the inulin extracted as soluble fiber.
