You can delete your Thyme account and all associated data at any time. This action is permanent and cannot be undone.

How to Delete Your Account

To delete your account, open the Thyme app and follow these steps:

  • Tap the settings icon in the top-right corner of the home screen
  • Scroll down to the "Account" section
  • Tap "Delete Account"
  • Confirm the deletion when prompted

Your account and all data will be permanently deleted.

What Gets Deleted

When you delete your account, we permanently remove:

  • Your user profile and email address
  • All cookbooks you created
  • All recipes you saved or imported
  • All recipe photos stored on our servers
  • Your authentication credentials

What Does NOT Get Deleted

The following are not affected by account deletion:

  • Data stored locally on your device (app cache) — uninstall the app to remove this
  • Anonymized, aggregated analytics that cannot be linked back to you

Can I Recover My Account?

No. Account deletion is irreversible. Once deleted, your data cannot be recovered. If you wish to use Thyme again, you will need to create a new account.
