Yorkshire Pudding With Roast Beef Drippings

  • 1 ½ cups flour
  • 1/3 tsp salt
  • 1 ½ cups milk
  • 3 eggs
  • roast beef drippings

Method

  1. 1 Sift together 1 ½ cups flour and 1/3 tsp salt.
  2. 2 Gradually whisk in 1 ½ cups milk to form a smooth batter.
  3. 3 Beat 3 eggs until thick and light, then fold into the batter.
  4. 4 Brush a hot dripping pan with roast beef drippings and pour in the batter.
  5. 5 Bake for 20 minutes until well risen. Baste with drippings if needed.
  6. 6 Cut into squares and serve alongside roast beef.
