Yorkshire Pudding With Roast Beef Drippings
Ingredients
- 1 ½ cups flour
- 1/3 tsp salt
- 1 ½ cups milk
- 3 eggs
- roast beef drippings
Method
- 1 Sift together 1 ½ cups flour and 1/3 tsp salt.
- 2 Gradually whisk in 1 ½ cups milk to form a smooth batter.
- 3 Beat 3 eggs until thick and light, then fold into the batter.
- 4 Brush a hot dripping pan with roast beef drippings and pour in the batter.
- 5 Bake for 20 minutes until well risen. Baste with drippings if needed.
- 6 Cut into squares and serve alongside roast beef.
