Yeast Rolls
Ingredients
- 1 ½ cups milk
- ½ cup small beer yeast
- Flour (as needed)
- ¼ cup warm water
- ½ tsp salt
- 2 tbsp butter
Method
- 1 Warm the milk and mix with the yeast and enough flour to make a batter. Cover and keep warm until risen.
- 2 Stir in warm water and salt. Rub butter into a small amount of flour.
- 3 Combine ingredients to form a soft dough. Let rest for 45 minutes.
- 4 Shape into rolls, let rise again, and bake in a hot oven (425°F).
