Yeast-Raised Corn Meal Bread
Ingredients
- 1 pint corn meal
- 1 egg-sized piece butter
- 2 eggs
- new milk (as needed)
- 1 spoonful yeast
Method
- 1 Rub butter into corn meal until combined.
- 2 Mix in eggs and enough milk to form a batter.
- 3 Stir in yeast and let rise near heat for one hour.
- 4 Pour batter into buttered pans and bake.
