Wholemeal Caraway Seed Cakes
Ingredients
- 1 lb wholemeal flour
- 4 oz sugar
- 4 oz butter
- 1 oz ground caraway seeds
- 3/4 cup milk
- 3 eggs
Method
- 1 Rub the butter into the wholemeal flour.
- 2 Add the sugar, ground caraway seeds, well-beaten eggs, and milk. Mix until combined.
- 3 Place the mixture in lumps on floured baking sheets.
- 4 Bake in a hot oven (425°F) for half an hour.
