Wholemeal Caraway Seed Cakes

Ingredients

  • 1 lb wholemeal flour
  • 4 oz sugar
  • 4 oz butter
  • 1 oz ground caraway seeds
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 3 eggs

Method

  1. 1 Rub the butter into the wholemeal flour.
  2. 2 Add the sugar, ground caraway seeds, well-beaten eggs, and milk. Mix until combined.
  3. 3 Place the mixture in lumps on floured baking sheets.
  4. 4 Bake in a hot oven (425°F) for half an hour.
