Whole Wheat Soy Bean Biscuits

  • 1 cup soy bean meal or flour
  • 1 cup whole wheat flour
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • 4 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 tablespoon corn syrup
  • 2 tablespoons fat
  • 1 cup milk

Method

  1. 1 Sift the dry ingredients together.
  2. 2 Cut in the fat until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  3. 3 Add the liquid ingredients and mix to form a soft dough.
  4. 4 Roll the dough to one-half inch thickness.
  5. 5 Cut into shapes and bake in a hot oven (425°F) for 12 to 15 minutes.
