Whole Wheat Soy Bean Biscuits
Ingredients
- 1 cup soy bean meal or flour
- 1 cup whole wheat flour
- 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
- 4 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 tablespoon corn syrup
- 2 tablespoons fat
- 1 cup milk
Method
- 1 Sift the dry ingredients together.
- 2 Cut in the fat until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- 3 Add the liquid ingredients and mix to form a soft dough.
- 4 Roll the dough to one-half inch thickness.
- 5 Cut into shapes and bake in a hot oven (425°F) for 12 to 15 minutes.
