Whole Wheat Molasses Gingerbread Muffins
Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons fat
- 1/2 cup molasses
- 1 egg
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup sour milk
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 2 cups whole wheat flour
- 1 teaspoon ginger
Method
- 1 Mix the baking soda and molasses together in a bowl.
- 2 Add the remaining ingredients and stir until combined.
- 3 Pour batter into muffin pans and bake for 20 minutes, or into a loaf pan for 40 minutes.
