Whole Wheat Molasses Gingerbread Muffins

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons fat
  • 1/2 cup molasses
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup sour milk
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 2 cups whole wheat flour
  • 1 teaspoon ginger

Method

  1. 1 Mix the baking soda and molasses together in a bowl.
  2. 2 Add the remaining ingredients and stir until combined.
  3. 3 Pour batter into muffin pans and bake for 20 minutes, or into a loaf pan for 40 minutes.
