Whole Wheat Golden Syrup Biscuits
Ingredients
- 4 ounces whole wheat flour
- 2 ounces all-purpose flour
- 1 egg
- 0.5 teaspoon baking powder
- 1.5 ounces butter
- 1.5 ounces sugar
- 0.5 tablespoon golden syrup
Method
- 1 Mix whole wheat flour, all-purpose flour, butter, baking powder, and sugar together until well combined.
- 2 Make a well in the center, crack in the egg, pour in the golden syrup, and mix by hand until thoroughly incorporated.
- 3 Roll the dough very thin, cut into desired shapes, and prick with a fork.
- 4 Bake in a 400°F oven until crisp.
