Whole Baked Apple Custard
Ingredients
- Apples, peeled and cored (enough to fill a deep dish)
- 5 eggs
- 1 quart milk
- Sugar to taste
- Nutmeg to taste
Method
- 1 Peel and core ripe apples that cook easily, arranging them to fill a deep dish.
- 2 Whisk 5 eggs with 1 quart of milk, adding sugar and nutmeg to taste.
- 3 Pour the custard mixture over the apples and bake for 30 minutes.
