White Wine Cream Sauce

Ingredients

  • 1 pint heavy cream
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • Sugar to taste
  • 1/4 cup white wine

Method

  1. 1 Bring the cream to a boil in a saucepan.
  2. 2 Thicken the cream slightly, then stir in the butter until melted.
  3. 3 Sweeten to your taste, then remove from heat and let cool.
  4. 4 Once cold, stir in the white wine before serving.
