White Wine And Cinnamon Sweet Sauce
Ingredients
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 1 cup water
- ¼ cup white wine
- 2 tbsp powdered sugar
- 2 bay leaves
Method
- 1 Place the cinnamon stick and water in a saucepan over medium heat.
- 2 Bring to a boil, then remove from heat and let steep for a few minutes.
- 3 Stir in the white wine, powdered sugar, and bay leaves.
- 4 Simmer gently for 2-3 minutes, then strain through a sieve into a serving bowl.
