White Sauce
Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 tablespoon flour
- 1 cup milk or cream
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon white pepper
Method
- 1 Melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat.
- 2 Add flour and whisk until well combined.
- 3 Slowly add milk or cream while stirring constantly until smooth.
- 4 Add salt and white pepper, then boil for 3 minutes.
