Wheatmeal Yorkshire Pudding With Butter
Ingredients
- 4 eggs
- 1/2 lb Allinson fine wheatmeal
- 1 pint milk
- pepper and salt to taste
- 1 oz butter
Method
- 1 Thoroughly beat the eggs.
- 2 Mix in the flour and milk to form a smooth batter.
- 3 Season the batter with pepper and salt.
- 4 Butter a shallow tin well.
- 5 Pour the batter into the tin and scatter bits of butter over the top.
- 6 Bake for 45 minutes.
- 7 Serve with vegetables, potatoes, and sauce.
