  • 6 oz fine wheatmeal
  • 1/2 lb castor sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • Flavoring to taste

Method

  1. 1 Beat the eggs until light and fluffy.
  2. 2 Sift in the sugar and gently fold until combined.
  3. 3 Sift in the wheatmeal and fold gently to incorporate.
  4. 4 Pour into a well-greased cake tin.
  5. 5 Bake in a moderate oven (350°F) for 1 to 1.5 hours.
