Warm Anchovy And Caper Remoulade
Ingredients
- 2 tbsp capers, chopped
- 2 tbsp parsley, chopped
- 2 anchovies, washed and boned
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1 small shallot
- 2 tbsp oil
- 1 tbsp mustard
- Juice of 1 large lemon
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Few sweet herb leaves (e.g., thyme or tarragon)
Method
- 1 Finely chop the capers, parsley, anchovies, garlic, and shallot separately, then combine them in a bowl.
- 2 Heat oil and mustard in a small saucepan over medium heat until warm.
- 3 Stir in the chopped ingredients, lemon juice, salt, pepper, and herbs. Cook for 4 minutes, stirring frequently.
