  • 2½ cups flour
  • ½ cup graham flour
  • ¼ cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup walnuts or raisins
  • 4 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 egg
  • 1½ cups milk

Method

  1. 1 Sift the flour, graham flour, sugar, salt, and baking powder together in a large bowl.
  2. 2 Chop the walnuts or raisins and stir them into the dry ingredients.
  3. 3 Beat the egg into the milk, then pour the mixture into the dry ingredients to form a soft dough.
