Vienna Style Chocolate

Ingredients

  • 4 oz vanilla chocolate
  • 1 quart milk
  • 3 tbsp hot water
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • Whipped cream, for serving

Method

  1. 1 Cut the chocolate into fine bits.
  2. 2 Heat the milk in a double boiler until it reaches the boiling point.
  3. 3 In a separate small pan, combine the chocolate, sugar, and hot water.
  4. 4 Stir the chocolate mixture over a hot fire until smooth and glossy.
  5. 5 Stir the chocolate mixture into the hot milk and beat well with a whisk.
  6. 6 Serve immediately, topping each cup with whipped cream.
