Vermicelli Consommé With French Roll
Ingredients
- 1 cup vermicelli
- 4 cups clear consommé
- Salt to taste
- Crust of French roll
Method
- 1 Break vermicelli into small pieces and boil in water for 2 minutes.
- 2 Strain vermicelli, rinse in cold water, then drain well.
- 3 Add vermicelli to consommé and simmer slowly for 15 minutes.
- 4 Season with salt and serve with a crust of French roll.
