Vermicelli Consommé With French Roll

Ingredients

  • 1 cup vermicelli
  • 4 cups clear consommé
  • Salt to taste
  • Crust of French roll

Method

  1. 1 Break vermicelli into small pieces and boil in water for 2 minutes.
  2. 2 Strain vermicelli, rinse in cold water, then drain well.
  3. 3 Add vermicelli to consommé and simmer slowly for 15 minutes.
  4. 4 Season with salt and serve with a crust of French roll.
