Vegetable Topped Pizza With Mozzarella
Ingredients
- 3/4 cup low-sodium pizza sauce
- 1 (12-inch) Italian pizza shell
- 1 cup chopped broccoli
- 1 cup shredded carrots
- 1/2 cup sliced green bell pepper (or red)
- 5 ounces shredded part-skim mozzarella cheese
Method
- 1 Preheat oven to 450°F. Spoon pizza sauce onto the pizza shell.
- 2 Place shell on a cookie sheet and arrange broccoli, carrots, and bell peppers over the sauce.
- 3 Sprinkle mozzarella cheese evenly over the vegetables.
- 4 Bake for 10 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
- 5 Cool for 3 minutes, then cut into 8 wedges and serve.
