Veal Gravy Mushroom Sauce
Ingredients
- 1 cup mushrooms, peeled and cleaned
- 1 cup veal gravy or milk
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 tablespoon flour
- Salt and pepper to taste
Method
- 1 Place cleaned mushrooms in a saucepan with veal gravy (or milk), butter, flour, salt, and pepper.
- 2 Stir well to combine and place over gentle heat.
- 3 Stew slowly until mushrooms are tender, skimming occasionally.
- 4 Strain the sauce before serving.
