Vanilla Bean Whipped Cream
Ingredients
- 1/4 pint heavy cream
- 1 egg white
- Sugar to taste
- 1 inch vanilla bean, split, seeds scraped
Method
- 1 Combine cream and egg white in a chilled bowl. If warm, place bowl in ice water.
- 2 Whisk vigorously until the mixture becomes quite thick.
- 3 Add sugar and vanilla seeds to taste. Whip briefly to incorporate.
