Vanilla Baked Egg Souffle

Ingredients

  • 3 eggs
  • 2 tablespoons powdered sugar
  • 1 thimbleful cornflour or feculina flour
  • few drops vanilla essence

Method

  1. 1 Mix egg yolks with powdered sugar for ten minutes.
  2. 2 Fold in stiffly beaten egg whites lightly to retain air.
  3. 3 Sprinkle in cornflour or feculina flour and stir gently.
  4. 4 Pour mixture into a buttered fireproof dish.
  5. 5 Bake in a gentle oven for 15 minutes.
