Turnip Potato And Rice Soup
Ingredients
- 1 cup rice
- 3 cups water
- 1 cup milk
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 large turnip
- 1 large onion
- 1 large potato
- 1 teaspoon salt
Method
- 1 Melt butter in a large saucepan to grease the bottom.
- 2 Wash rice and add to pan with sliced turnip, onion, and potato.
- 3 Boil for 45 minutes, stirring frequently.
- 4 Add milk and salt, then simmer for 15 minutes until cooked through.
