Turkey Giblet Gravy
Ingredients
- 3 tablespoons butter or margarine
- 3 tablespoons flour
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/2 cups low-sodium chicken or turkey broth
- 1/2 cup cooked and chopped giblets
Method
- 1 Melt butter in a skillet over low heat.
- 2 Whisk in flour and salt. Stir and heat until the mixture is bubbly.
- 3 Slowly add broth while stirring constantly to prevent lumps.
- 4 Cook over low heat for 5 to 10 minutes until thickened.
- 5 Stir in cooked giblets and heat for a few minutes to blend flavors.
