Tuna And Broccoli Spaghetti
Ingredients
- 8 ounces uncooked spaghetti
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 1/2 cup broccoli, chopped
- 1 1/2 cups tomato-based pasta sauce
- 1 can water-packed tuna (5 ounces), drained
- Salt to taste, optional
- Parmesan cheese, optional
- Black pepper to taste, optional
Method
- 1 Cook spaghetti according to package directions; drain.
- 2 Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add onion and broccoli; cook until softened.
- 3 Stir in pasta sauce. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low and simmer for 3 minutes.
- 4 Add drained tuna to the sauce; stir gently to heat through. Season with salt and pepper.
- 5 Add cooked spaghetti to the skillet. Stir to combine evenly. Top with Parmesan if desired and serve hot.
