Truffle Stuffed Tomato Salad
Ingredients
- 4 small tomatoes
- 1 head lettuce
- 1 cucumber, sliced
- 1 truffle, sliced
- 1 green pepper, ringed
- 3 tbsp Louit Frères mustard
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/8 tsp paprika
- 1 tbsp vinegar
- 1/2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 cup olive oil
Method
- 1 Peel the tomatoes and scoop out a portion of the centers.
- 2 Arrange the tomatoes in nests of lettuce leaves.
- 3 Garnish each tomato with a slice of cucumber, a fancy slice of truffle, and a ring of green pepper.
- 4 Whisk together mustard, salt, paprika, vinegar, and Worcestershire sauce.
- 5 Slowly add olive oil while stirring constantly to create the dressing.
- 6 Serve the salad with the prepared dressing.
