Traditional Rye Wheat Yeast Bread
Ingredients
- 1 peck wheat flour
- 6 lbs rye flour
- salt to taste
- 1/2 pint yeast
- warm water as needed
Method
- 1 Combine wheat flour, rye flour, salt, yeast, and warm water to form a stiff dough.
- 2 Let the dough rise for three hours.
- 3 Bake in a moderate oven (350°F) for three hours.
