Tomato Parmesan Rice With Buttered Green Beans
Ingredients
- 1 cup rice
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1/2 cup tomato sauce
- 1 egg yolk
- 2 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 lb green beans
- 1 tbsp butter
- Salt and pepper to taste
Method
- 1 Boil rice until tender and separate. Toss with 2 tbsp butter.
- 2 Stir in tomato sauce, beaten egg yolk, and Parmesan cheese.
- 3 Boil green beans until tender. Toss with 1 tbsp butter, salt, and pepper.
- 4 Arrange rice in a border on a platter. Pile beans in the center.
