Tomato Parmesan Rice With Buttered Green Beans

Ingredients

  • 1 cup rice
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1/2 cup tomato sauce
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 2 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 lb green beans
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Method

  1. 1 Boil rice until tender and separate. Toss with 2 tbsp butter.
  2. 2 Stir in tomato sauce, beaten egg yolk, and Parmesan cheese.
  3. 3 Boil green beans until tender. Toss with 1 tbsp butter, salt, and pepper.
  4. 4 Arrange rice in a border on a platter. Pile beans in the center.
