Tomato Onion Vermicelli Soup
Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons tinned tomatoes or 1 medium fresh tomato
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 1 teaspoon vermicelli
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/2 pint water
Method
- 1 Chop the onion and fry it until soft.
- 2 Add tomatoes, water, salt, and pepper. Boil for 5-10 minutes.
- 3 Drain the liquid, reserving the solids. Return solids to the pan.
- 4 Add vermicelli to the reserved liquid and return to the pan. Cook until vermicelli is soft.
- 5 Serve hot.
