Tic Tac Toe Veggie Pita Pizza
Ingredients
- 1/2 medium carrot
- 1 red bell pepper
- 4 medium summer squash
- 3/4 cup whole wheat pita rounds (about 6" diameter)
- 4 reduced-sodium pasta sauce
- 4 sticks reduced-fat string mozzarella cheese
Method
- 1 Preheat oven to 400°F. Cut carrot and bell pepper into 2-inch sticks for Xs. Cut squash into 12 slices for Os.
- 2 Pull apart each cheese stick to make 4 strips for the grid. Place pita rounds on a baking sheet and spread pasta sauce on each.
- 3 Arrange cheese and vegetables on pitas to create a tic-tac-toe grid. Bake for 10 minutes or until cheese is bubbling.
