Thin Sliced Potato Soup

Ingredients

  • 1½ pounds potatoes, sliced thin
  • 3 tablespoons flour
  • ½ pound butter
  • 3 ounces salt
  • ¼ teaspoon pepper
  • 3 quarts soup stock

Method

  1. 1 Boil potatoes and stock for 10 minutes.
  2. 2 Add salt, pepper, and butter; boil for 5 minutes.
  3. 3 Make flour into a paste and add to the soup.
  4. 4 Cook for 3 minutes, then can or serve.
