Thin Sliced Potato Soup
Ingredients
- 1½ pounds potatoes, sliced thin
- 3 tablespoons flour
- ½ pound butter
- 3 ounces salt
- ¼ teaspoon pepper
- 3 quarts soup stock
Method
- 1 Boil potatoes and stock for 10 minutes.
- 2 Add salt, pepper, and butter; boil for 5 minutes.
- 3 Make flour into a paste and add to the soup.
- 4 Cook for 3 minutes, then can or serve.
