Swedish Pancakes With Jam
Ingredients
- 3 eggs
- 1 cup milk
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- ½ cup flour
- ½ tablespoon oil
- butter
- jam or jelly
- sugar
Method
- 1 Beat egg yolks and whites separately, then mix together.
- 2 Add salt, sugar, and half the milk; stir in flour to make a smooth paste.
- 3 Add remaining milk and oil; beat well and let stand for at least one hour.
- 4 Bake on a hot griddle in cakes of desired size.
- 5 Spread each cake with butter and jam or jelly, then roll up.
- 6 Sprinkle with sugar and serve immediately.
