Sugar Sprinkle Cutout Cookies
Ingredients
- 1 cup sugar
- ½ cup melted butter
- 2 eggs
- 1½ cups flour
- ½ tsp baking soda
- pinch of salt
- sugar for sprinkling
Method
- 1 Pour melted butter over sugar in a bowl and beat until smooth and creamy.
- 2 Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
- 3 Sift baking soda through flour, add salt, and mix into the batter.
- 4 Chill dough in a cold place for one hour.
- 5 Roll dough thin on a floured board and cut into rounds or shapes.
- 6 Sprinkle with sugar and bake in a 400°F oven for 10 minutes.
