Sugar Dusted Brussels Gaufres
Ingredients
- 1 cup flour
- 5 egg yolks
- 1 tsp granulated sugar
- 1 cup fresh milk
- 1 pinch salt
- 1 pinch vanilla extract
- 2 oz unsalted butter, melted
- 4 egg whites
- Butter for baking sheet
- Granulated sugar for dusting
Method
- 1 In a bowl, mix flour, egg yolks, sugar, milk, salt, and vanilla until smooth.
- 2 Stir in the melted butter.
- 3 Whip egg whites until stiff peaks form, then gently fold them into the batter.
- 4 Butter a baking sheet and spread batter thinly. Bake until golden yellow.
- 5 Remove and dust immediately with sugar while warm.
