Stuffed Baked Clams

Ingredients

  • 4 large clams
  • 1 cup chopped clams
  • 2 cups buttered bread crumbs
  • 1 tbsp chopped parsley
  • 1 tbsp chopped pimiento
  • 1 tbsp onion juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Method

  1. 1 Scrub clam shells clean and open them. Remove the meat and chop it into small pieces.
  2. 2 Mix the chopped clams with buttered bread crumbs, parsley, pimiento, and onion juice. Season with salt and pepper.
  3. 3 Fill the empty shells with the clam mixture and place them in a shallow baking pan.
  4. 4 Bake in a very hot oven (425°F) until the crumbs are well browned on top. Serve hot.
