Stuffed Baked Clams
Ingredients
- 4 large clams
- 1 cup chopped clams
- 2 cups buttered bread crumbs
- 1 tbsp chopped parsley
- 1 tbsp chopped pimiento
- 1 tbsp onion juice
- Salt and pepper to taste
Method
- 1 Scrub clam shells clean and open them. Remove the meat and chop it into small pieces.
- 2 Mix the chopped clams with buttered bread crumbs, parsley, pimiento, and onion juice. Season with salt and pepper.
- 3 Fill the empty shells with the clam mixture and place them in a shallow baking pan.
- 4 Bake in a very hot oven (425°F) until the crumbs are well browned on top. Serve hot.
